The White Stripes Announce Expanded 20th Anniversary Edition of 'White Blood Cells'
The White Stripes' 2001 album White Blood Cells turns 20 this year, and having already celebrated it with an anniversary vinyl package, the garage duo are now putting a deluxe edition digitally.

The expanded, remastered version of the album will arrive this Friday (June 25) through Third Man Records. The original album has been remastered in HD audio using the original tapes. It comes with a live performance of Jack and Meg White performing the entire album at the Gold Dollar in Detroit, on June 7, 2001.

The White Stripes previously released an LP of unreleased demos and alternate takes from the White Blood Cells era, plus a different live performance from the same year. There's no word on if those rarities will be made available digitally.
