Published Oct 06, 2016After resurfacing in the summer to deliver his velvet electronic piece "You Can't Deny," Montreal's Jacques Greene has offered up a signature twist on Frank Ocean's Blonde standout, "White Ferrari."
While the original was a minimal masterpiece that featured a light veneer of guitar and an echoing wall of vocals, Greene takes the piece to a neon-lit club scene, proffering pulsing electronics and heart-bumping beats. It's never overbearing, though. It works, especially once Ocean's familiar breathiness whisks itself into the new arrangement.
