You could win a Beastie Boys vinyl prize pack, including Paul’s Boutique, Ill Communication, Hello Nasty, Solid Gold Hits and Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, so you can listen along while you read the aptly named Beastie Boys Book.
The tome was written by band members Mike D and Ad-Rock, who announced its Devil's Night drop date back in May, revealing it'd be 592 pages long. How could it be any shorter, though? With a three-decade run, during which they changed hip-hop, it'd be impossible to sum up their history — plus include rare photos, original illustrations, a cookbook from chef Roy Choi, a graphic novel, a map to the band's New York and more — in any less.
Follow along to hear their auditory evolution as you read about Paul's Boutique (which we said is "one of the greatest hip-hop albums to ever grace a turntable"), Ill Communication ("their most maturely playful"), Hello Nasty and Hot Sauce Committee Part Two ("definitely their best since Ill Communication), plus greatest hits compilation Solid Gold Hits.
